PROTOTYPE:
The prototype for this model is based on a common Santa Fe style bridge that is a close relative to the "A" frame design. Constructed during the 1930-40's, these bridges have been a common site along Santa Fe (now BNSF) mainlines for well over a half-century.
The prototype photos posted are of two bridges, both located in Santa Fe Springs, CA, on the BNSF mainline.
